“What is Localization?” YouTube Video

What is Localization?
Asking people on the street in Beijing as to what they think "localization" is?

This has nothing to do with DITA per se, but it is funny. This was a short video shown at the CSOFT 2011 Summit, featuring their Marketing Manager Zach interviewing people on the street in Beijing asking them what they think “localization” is.

Can’t help but think that he would get the same reaction in most other places in the world as well.

It may or may not be “sexy”, but it certainly is important. 😉

  1. Hey Keith! 🙂

Thanks for the link to our video. The more I think about it, though, localization is kinda sexy. Once the conversation progresses from “I don’t know what the hell you do” to “Oh, so THAT’S what you do…”, it usually makes for some pretty decent conversation.

I’m wondering if you DITA folks don’t get the same initial reaction, though….
