Worldwide Distribution of DITA: Updated July 2012

Currently I am working on updating the stats and images for my upcoming BatchGeo later this week, using the updated info from the Companies Using DITA listing. One of the things I wasn’t happy with was showing the worldwide and regional distribution of where the firms/organizations using DITA are located. I had been using a free trail of MS MapPoint but I found it clunky and not really suited to what I wanted to show.

Looking for other possibilities I ran across BatchGeo and found exactly what I wanted. It takes the information from my spreadsheet and uses the Google Map API to create a geographical representation of my data. And it is interactive too!
